Leak-Proof Sump Base
Integrated sump system that safely collects acid, electrolyte and heavy metal-containing liquids that may leak from waste batteries. This structure preventing environmental pollution is manufactured from 316L stainless steel or HDPE-lined sheet and is resistant to even the most aggressive chemicals. Leak containment capacity is designed to be at least 10% of container volume.

They are manufactured with a leak-proof sump base against leaking acid and electrolyte fluids, full compliance with ADR/RID international dangerous goods transport standards and UN-approved design. Designed in compliance with battery waste collection systems mandated by the Zero Waste Regulation, our containers are widely used in municipalities, shopping centers, hospitals, schools, universities and industrial facilities. With stainless steel or galvanized body options, they offer weather-resistant long-lasting use. The internal compartmentalization system allows separate collection of different battery types (alkaline, lithium, nickel-cadmium).

Our containers can safely store all common battery types including alkaline batteries (AA, AAA, D), lithium-ion rechargeable batteries, nickel-cadmium (NiCd) and nickel-metal hydride (NiMH) accumulators, lead-acid accumulators and button cells. Special safety measures (thermal insulation, explosion-resistant body) are provided as standard for lithium-ion batteries.
